Project Risk Assessments aren’t a sexy subject…

Some might think that wearing Louboutins in nothing but your black lace lingerie would be more appealing…

The thing is…

If you don’t assess a projects risks, you might end up scoping a great project but be left without people with the right skillsets, time and budget to undertake the tasks…

Project Risk Assessments don’t need to be boring…

Actually…

That’s a lie…

Project Risk Assessments NEED to be boring…

They’re the cake that make the icing stick, without it all going sideways…

They make sure the project is scoped properly.

Include any scope risk factors.

Include an allowance for scope creep.

Make sure the right team members are on-board.

And make sure there is follow up.

They formulate the foundation of a good project evaluation assessment.

Which is basically a document to make sure there is less of a risk of your project going sideways…

It pays to know your stuff when doing either of those Assessments, but a good consultant will be (almost) able to formulate an assessment based on facts, data and interviews of stakeholders…

So, don’t be left unprepared.

Get a consultant who is unbiased, not going to just tell you what you want to hear and can give you a solid basis for your projects development…

Like me.
